My Story
I have 20 years experience teaching music to individuals who wish to learn piano, music theory, composition, and music production. My teaching aims to focus on a full understanding of music and I tend to avoid quick fixes. So lessons with me, have less focus on passing exams (although that happens naturally anyway if the student wishes!). I prefer to get you to a point where you can plan anything you love. So if its leaning as a new skill as an adult or to develop music in early life my tuition is always tailored to the individual.
Lessons are either 30 mins, 1 hour, or 90 mins weekly. With this time, and to maximise what the student gets out of the lessons I'd recommend a minimum of 1 hour practice time between lessons, ideally spread out across multiple days. Realistically it takes thousands of hours to become a master of a musical instrument, so 1 hour per weeks never cuts it!
