Music production for live shows

During the second half of 2024 I am working on the second live show as a composer and music producer. This project is involving creating covers of songs selected for the show alongside original underscore and sound effects. This isn’t an area of music production I specifically trained for but it does combine the two specialist areas of live music performance with singers, and media composition. I have been working with the singers in the rehearsal room - and will continue to do so to make sure the arrangements are the best fit for their voices and help coach them where needed. The incidental music needs to be bold and melodramatic, and with a very long cue list needs to be produced quickly. A super useful experience for me as I continue to develop my production chops! The show will be advertised during November and will take place in Southport, UK.
